The apartment is part of a Renaissance Palace built by the famous architect Antonio da San Gallo il Giovane; Is an historical building dated 1520 which originally was build because the necessity of Pope Clemens XII to have a "National Bank" belonging to Vatican thus he founded the Banco di S. Spirito (the Bank of the Holy Spirit). Was a building property first of Annibale Guerra , and later of the nobile Sterbini family where Cesar Sterbini wrote numerous booklets for Giacomo Rossini musician, among them the well known Barber of Siviglia.
